I assist a number of clients within the Aged Care and Health, Retail, Ports and Stevedoring and Meat Processing sectors. One of the best perks of being a lawyer with such a diverse client base is being exposed to different environments and the challenge of managing different interests.
I am often on the road meeting clients at their workplaces to get a good understanding of their issues and challenges. This allows me to be the best advocate for the client as I am often in the position where I can convey an intimate understanding of their business.
My clients benefit from my ability to provide timely and cost-effective service. I achieve this through connecting with them quickly and building rapport and trust. Building this relationship allows me to understand my client’s issues and deliver solutions and an informed advice without unnecessary delay.
Since joining BTLawyers in 2015, I have had the following Trial and Application successes:
– Dent v Lang’s Building Supplies QSC 368 – Section 31 Limitations of Actions Act 1974 claim that was rejected.
– Butcher v Inflight Logistics [ 2016] QDC 101 – Modest award for a Plaintiff on a liability admitted claim. No future economic loss awarded.
– Maraki v Interport Cargo QDC 026 – Nominal award for a Plaintiff. No future economic loss awarded.
