Association of Self Insured Employers of Queensland
Members of the Association include some of Queensland’s largest employers who have elected to provide their own Accident Insurance under a Self Insurance Licence, instead of insuring with Work Cover. The Queensland Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act permits the Regulatory Authority Q-Comp to issue Self Insurance Licences to large Employers that can demonstrate the ability to meet regulatory requirements.
