Mark Chapman

The appointment of a General Manager reinforces Bruce Thomas Lawyers commitment to continually improving the processes within the Firm to offer a better service for our clients.  Mark holds a Masters of Business from the University of Newcastle and as General Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the efficient internal processes within the Firm, which include Operations, Marketing, Communications, HR, Business Development and Customer Service.

Mark has previously worked in the legal environment, holding a similar position in a full service Law firm and also as General Manager of a firm providing services to law firms and the judicial system. Before entering the corporate environment Mark was in both the British and Australian Army and has seen operational service in a wide variety of environments. He was appointed MBE for his role as Military Assistant to the Commander of the British Forces during the Gulf War and is a recognised business speaker on Leadership and the Creation of High Performance Teams’.

Mark maintains his links with the Defence Force through reserve service and has recently completed a project introducing a new Risk Management system in to the Army.
