Bruce Thomas

Bruce holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injuries. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1992 and founded the firm in 2002. He leads the insurance and business services teams, and actively manages client matters within those areas.
Bruce manages all client matters proactively, identifies critical issues at an early stage and develops a strategic plan. He prepares matters meticulously and is highly regarded for pursuing his client’s interests vigorously. Bruce is a confident advocate and experienced negotiator and personally represents clients in all forms of business negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
Bruce has extensive experience in acting for insurers and has developed a reputation for excellence in insurance litigation. He has extensive experience in all areas of workers compensation law including common law claims, statutory claims advice, advice on regulatory compliance for self insurers and Statutory claims reviews and appeals.
Bruce spends time to get to know his clients’ businesses. He is always looking for new ways to improve his processes and those of his clients to gain commercial and tactical advantage. He provides advice and representation in a range of areas ancillary to workers compensation law. He has helped numerous clients by suggesting, devising and implementing projects that have had long term benefit in managing their commercial and liability risk in areas allied to workers compensation issues.
